Fiat Chrysler recalls more than 250,000 vehicles for airbag issue, fire riskDETROIT - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling about 182,000 Jeep Wranglers from the 2016 and 2017 model years in the U.S. over an issue with airbags potentially not deploying in a wreck.The automaker said in documents filed with U.S. safety regulators that in certain conditions a front impact sensor wiring may be pulled until it detaches before a signal can be received by the vehicle's occupant restraint controller.If the occupant restraint controller doesn't receive a signal, both frontal airbags and the seatbelt pretensioners will not work in a crash.
