Man crashes stolen Jeep into TV news van in Hollywood, police sayA 37-year-old man suspected of drunken driving in a stolen Jeep Monday was arrested after crashing into a TV news van in Hollywood.Travis Miller tried running away after the afternoon crashon the intersection of South 56th Avenue and Washington Street but was held down by good Samaritans until authorities arrived, Hollywood police spokeswoman Miranda Grossman said.Cellphone images show Miller apparently drinking from a can of beer as the bystanders hold him down.

Canby teen arrested after stealing Jeep he traded in a month ago, police sayA Canby teen was arrested Wednesday after he went to Newport and stole a Jeep he recently swapped for two other cars because he was unhappy with the deal, police say.Matthew Dylan Knight, 18, was found sometime after 1:30 a.m. in Agate Beach and was pulled over along U.S. 101 while driving the 2002 Jeep Cherokee that no longer belonged to him, Newport police said.He was arrested along with Brody James Bjork, 22, of Gresham, and Jacob Allen Stanford Cutts, 23, of Damascus, who police said drove Knight to retrieve the Jeep and were following him in another car when he got pulled over.
