- Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has reportedly scrapped plans to build the 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer full-size SUVs on a lengthened Grand Cherokee platform.According to Autoline Daily, the Grand Cherokee platform cannot be properly re-engineered to support the full-size Grand Wagoneer.With that said, Jeep hasn't given up on the new three-row SUV entirely, with the automaker looking at using the body-on-frame platform utilized by the Ram 1500 in such an application.
