Fiat Chrysler says pricing for the redesigned 2017 Jeep Compass will start at more than $22,000, while the compact crossover will become the second most-fuel efficient Jeep after the Renegade. The manual-equipped two-wheel drive Compass produces the highest fuel economy ratings at 23 city/32 hwy/26 combined, while the same all-wheel-drive Compass is rated at 22 city/31 hwy/25 combined by the EPA. The two-wheel-drive Compass equipped with a six-speed automatic earned an identical 22 city/31 hwy/25 combined rating, while the all-wheel drive equipped with the nine-speed automatic was rated at 22 city/30 hwy/25 combined.

The all-new 2017 Jeep Compass is a very stylish, very well-executed little crossover. Engine stop-start is standard in all 2017 Compass models and fuel economy ratings vary depending on drivetrain type. The Compass is designed to fit in between the little Renegade model and the larger Cherokee model.
