2017 Jeep Renegade Sport 4x4 Review quoting : "Motor Trend"

Yet Jeep's basic recipe -- offering a genuinely capable on- and off-road SUV at a reasonable price -- continues to delight the widest spectrum of buyers, and that's exactly what the all-new 2017 Jeep Compass offers. Underbody skid plates, a full-size spare and water fording up to 19 inches (other trims can ford 16 inches) contribute to the Trailhawk's off-road credentials. Photo courtesy JeepThe Compass will be critical to global sales for Fiat Chrysler in the coming years. The off-road oriented Compass Trailhawk and premium Compass Limited trims are only offered with the 9-speed automatic. The 6-speed manual will be offered in 4x2 or 4x4 form in the base Compass Sport trim.

2017 Jeep Renegade Sport 4x4 Review
Were it not for a rookie dad move, I wouldn't be driving the 2017 Jeep Renegade Sport 4×4. The Renegade is available in one of six trim levels, ranging from the base Sport to the limited-edition Desert Hawk. In a Big Test covering this segment, a Jeep Renegade Latitude—one step up from the Sport—finished third, just behind a Mazda CX-3 and ahead of a Honda HR-V, both of which we've had in our garage already. The Jetset Blue Jeep was supposed to spend a year under the care of photographer Brian Vance. It seems that this compact SUV's target market doesn't include families with newborns, so the Jeep would need a new chaperone.
