(WXYZ) - A local mother, who's already struggling to care for her son with epilepsy, has a major setback. To make matters worse, her son's wheelchair was in it. The wheelchair gives him some independence and provides safety, especially since being on his feet for too long is dangerous. The Jeep she depends on to get around was stolen.

Windsor police have arrested a Windsor man after someone posted a video of him on Facebook allegedly driving around in a stolen Jeep. Melvin Jackson, 30, from Windsor, is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breach of probation. One of those responses included a video of a man driving the stolen Jeep, police said. Police received a call about the stolen vehicle around 7:30 a.m. Monday. The victim complained on social media about his stolen vehicle and received several responses.
