Will be manufactured and sold in India in H2 2017.Brazilian publication, Autoo, has managed to acquire photographs of the 2017 Jeep Compass (Jeep 551/Jeep C-SUV) during what appears to be its local TVC shoot.The images give a first look at the next-gen Compass's exterior styling, ahead of its digital reveal in the coming weeks.

Jeep's upcoming compact SUV, codenamed the 551 and expected to be called the Jeep Compass, has been spotted without any camouflage in Brazil.The car snapped was probably being used for a local TVC shoot.The Compass will also be launched in India, where it will be assembly locally at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' plant in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra.

The India-bound Jeep Compass will be a C-segment SUV which will be launched in Brazil first; it was spotted weeks ahead of its official launch filming for a commercial.The car spotted was the Limited Edition, hinting at several unique styling cues like the roof line which has a chrome strip running across the sides, meeting at the rear under the windshield.The roof is of a different colour too indicating that there may be dual-colour options on this top-end variant.
