DETROIT — The Honda CR-V, Jeep Cherokee and Nissan Rogue were popular vehicles with car shoppers in August, according to the monthly sales report.Other strong performers included the Buick Encore, GMC Canyon and Ram ProMaster.GM, Ford, Toyota, Nissan and Honda notched sales declines last month.
