The Portland mother of a man who died when his Jeep Patriot stalled on Interstate 84 in Idaho has filed an $11 million lawsuit against Chrysler and the dealership that sold him the SUV.Beth Richmond's lawsuit claims the 2012 Patriot her son bought was defective -- a faulty tube in the fuel system prevented fuel from feeding the engine, forcing 32-year-old Jason Richmond to pull to the side of the freeway.He was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler semi-trailer truck on Aug. 31, 2013 -- nearly one year after he bought the SUV, according to the lawsuit filed last week in Multnomah County Circuit Court.
