Jeep has recalled its Cherokee SUV in Australia this week, due to a potential problem with the seat fasteners.The carmaker said the seat fastener may not have been tightened to specification during manufacturing.If so, there could be an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants during a collision.

Joe Sosnowski, a Rockford Republican, announced Wednesday that Yanfeng Automotive Interiors will open a plant in Belvidere next year.It's expected to create 400 new jobs and bring $28 million in capital investment.
