PHOTO GALLERYJeep has revealed that it could create a new entry-level SUV to combat models like the Nissan Juke and Renault Captur.Speaking with Autocar at the ongoing Paris Auto Show , Jeep boss Mike Manley said that a model to slot below the Renegade could soon become viable for the firm, commenting that "I'm pretty confident that it is going to be a viable segment for us in the future".Although Manley failed to provide a timeline of when the car could see the light of day, his tone suggested that the automaker has to start discussing or planning for such a model.Consequently, don't expect to see it any time soon.Nevertheless, he did say that if a sub-Renegade is built by Jeep, it will have to be capable off the beaten path like all other Jeep models "When you think of some of the elements that make a vehicle capable, such as ground clearance, the geography of the vehicle makes it more difficult", Manley went on.
